The June update of Animal Crossing: New Horizons brings a lucrative fish which is a Golden Dorado, and catching it is still a mystery for many players. With the new season of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the new fish Golden Dorado is available for players. Indeed it’s a lucrative and elusive aquatic life breed of the name Dorado. It is not a common fish on the water of your island. Catching this fish could be profitable for every player, but before that, it is important to know the method of catching it. How to Catch the Golden Dorado

You might don’t know but Dorado is most likely available in the warmer month. On the island of North Hemisphere direction between June to September they can be located. On the island of Southern Hemisphere direction, between December to March they can be located. The timing of catching Dorado is between 4 AM to 9 AM. Do not try to catch it late at night and if you do it, then your hands will be out of luck. 

Dorado is located on the river portion side of the island. In water, a huge shadow will be seen which is similar to sea bass, pike or the snapping turtle so if you are focusing on any small shadow and thinking that it’s Dorado, then you are wrong. Locating it could be a little frustrating for you if you’ve never seen Dorado. It might take time to see its first sight of this rare fish, but once you find it, you will have a proper idea of what you need to do now.

What makes this fish rare is not just about colour; the value of this fish matters the most. You can get 15,000 bells from Timmy and Tommy. Although, if you don’t sell Dorado until CJ gets into the town, you can have 22,000 bells if CJ takes it. If this thing goes well, your patience will work smoothly. Remember to donate the first from collection to old Blathers because he loves to add these types of specimens to his museum. 

You cannot make Dorado make appear faster, so you have to wait frequently. If you want to increase your chances to appear Dorado faster, then you need to set some bait to catch one. If Dorado is near your bait, you will have an intense vibration on your controller. Keep your focus on the large shadow and when you see it, just be ready to make your shot at catching one.
