Locating Repeats in Spreadsheets by using Formulas

There are two Excel formulas used in the Spreadsheets program to locate the number of duplicate data and also to remove the same.

  1. UNIQUE: This formula examines the entire spreadsheet program and then removes all the duplicate rows from your device. The process is very straightforward to use. You have to type “UNIQUE” followed by the range that you wish to check for duplicates.

For example UNIQUE (A1: O11)

  • Once you enter the formula, a new table will appear at the right-hand side section containing the results having the original details by removing duplicates.
  • COUNTIF: It can be used to view the duplicates before deciding what to be removed after this point.
