The title of the show ‘Home Before Dark’ was initially decided to be the ‘Magic Hour,’ but was later replaced. The story revolves around a young girl who tries to gather clues about an unresolved case. The story is inspired by the life of a journalist named Hilde Lysiak, who cracked a murder case just at the age of nine. The show received massive appreciation from the critics as well as the audience. The cast of the show was also highly praised for their performance.

The shooting of season two started back in January 2020 but had to be paused due to the pandemic. The word is that the first three episodes of the show were already filmed before the production stopped. Though the release date has not been confirmed, the show is expected to release in 2021.

The season two of the show will pick up the story where it was left along with more thrill and mystery. Also, it was left on a cliffhanger with a lot of questions in the viewer’s mind that’ll be unfolded in the next section. “We want to create something that has never been seen before”, Dana mentioned. The cherry on the cake is that all the stars from season one will be seen on-screen in season two, including Brooklyn Prince in the lead. Other cast includes Jim Sturgess, Kylie Rogers, Abby Miller, Kiefer O’Reilly, Aziza Scott, and Louis Herthum.

The trailer of season two has not been released yet, but if you haven’t watched the season 1 trailer, it is available to watch. Also, if you want to re-watch its first season to refresh the story, the same is available on Apple TV+.
