The steps to cancel the Peacock TV subscription are:

- Once you open the website, hit the sign-in button present on the top-right corner of the screen.
- Enter your login details in the next window and tap on the sign-in button.

- The next window will show you the plan you’re currently using. Tap on the ‘Change Plan’ button.
- A list of available plans will appear in the next window. Select the appropriate plan or go for the ‘Peacock Free’ option.
- Hit the ‘Change Plan’ button on the bottom of the window.
- Click on the ‘Switch to Free’ option to confirm and continue.

How to delete the Peacock TV account?
Deleting a Peacock account is a bit of a complex process, unlike any other online streaming platforms. If you dig in the Help Centre of the platform, you’ll see a detailed process of deleting your Peacock account. To continue with the process, you’ll have to visit the privacy page of the platform.
- The next window appears with the policy of your right to digital information. To continue deleting your account, locate the deletion request link and click on the same.
- Next, you’ll be headed to the ‘NBC Universal Individual Rights Request Portal’ page. Click on the ‘Delete my Information’ option and select ‘Peacock’ from the drop-down menu of ‘Select applicable brand(s).’

Peacock or NBC haven’t stated the time taken by them to disable an account, but once it’s done, you’ll receive a confirmation mail for the same.
Peacock was introduced to play as a substitute for Netflix, however, the basic facility remains the same. Also, it is specialized for NBC shows and movies. So, if you specifically want to binge-watch the same, Peacock is a better option than any other online streaming platform.
