A domain named ‘infamousthegame.com’ is linked to an official page ‘Sucker Punch Website.’ Its last update is giving out the information about hiring by Sucker Punch for the PS5 title. Assumptions are being made regarding the connection between the two, and a new infamous game is expected to be developed.
The Sucker Punch is a fantasy action film released in 2011, that was directed by Zack Snyder. The film did not do well on the box-office and received a lot of criticism from the public. Many viewers also compared the film to a video game and weren’t in favor of the same.
inFamous is an action video game introduced by the ‘Sucker Punch Productions’ that was out along with PS3 dictating the story of Cole McGrath. With the release of PS4, the focus shifted from ‘inFamous Second Son’ to Delsin Rowe. The last series released was a DLC named ‘First Sight’ that came out in 2014. This series was introduced as a prequel to the ‘Second Son.’
The development for ‘inFamous 2’ started immediately after ‘inFamous’ was released. The ‘inFamous 2’ came out on June 7, 2011, and is based on the superpowers that Cole possesses. The player has the opportunity to choose amongst good or selfish motives and use these powers. The inFamous 2 continues from the point when you see Cole sacrificing himself to destroy the beast in the last section of part 1.
Cole McGarth is disclosed to be the one responsible for all the explosions, and soon he comes across a superpower he has, an ability to channel electricity from his body. Cole tries to control his powers and protect the city.
The word is that Delsin did not receive as much praise and positive feedback as Cole from the gamers. While there is a completely new beginning for the inFamous on a new console generation, Second Son has already been approached by the Sucker Punch. The results weren’t very satisfying as such, but there are still expectations for the same to perform well the second time.
After a long gap of no Sucker Punch games, there will soon be a brand-new wave after ‘Infamous First Light.’ July 17 will be the day for ‘Ghost of Tsushima,’ an action-adventure game for PS4, that offers a healthy environment. The players can travel anywhere in the game world by riding a horse, and ‘Grappling Hook,’ a tool in the game, can be accessed by the players to reach the difficult parts. This game will be an inspiration from Japanese cinema, and the subtitles can be switched to Japanese.
