How to Reset Your AirPods and AirPods Pro?

Apple AirPods and AirPods Pro have only one light indicator located just below the hood of the device’s charging case. There is a separate light for every specific issue, and it depends on the location where you kept your AirPod and the condition of the device. The light itself indicates the current situation of your device.

In order to reset the device, then you have to follow these instructions carefully:

Ensuring to have the Power in AirPods and Its Charging Case

It is recommended to tap the AirPods case button located at the backside and check for the amber light to flash. If it’s not the case, it might be dead, and then you have to try plugging the device to the compatible power source for about fifteen minutes and then make sure that it is properly charged for the process of repair.

Open and Tap the Mini Button Located at the Backside of the Case

A small button is located at the backside of the charging case, and it’s the first most option for resetting the device with ease. Search for the button, and if found, then hold it for about 15 seconds, and the LED light will start to flash amber from the white one.

  • It is recommended to apply this procedure on the charging case by keeping the device away from the smartphone to which you wish to unpair or disconnect. If you keep it too close to the phone, it will automatically fetch the entire data.
  • Once you get the amber light flashing, then wait for some time and reboot the smartphone to get it disconnected.

Pair the AirPods with New Apple Device or via Bluetooth

  • Once you have successfully reset your AirPods, then try to sync it with a new Apple device. To sync it, you have to tap and hold both the devices and keep them close together, and a connection light will blink as usual.
  • In the case of Android consumers, you have to go to the Settings page.
  • Then, hit the Connection tab.
  • Now, press the Bluetooth option and then connect them as usual.

Changing Name of the AirPods
