The Conjuring is an American project that was written by Carey W. Hayes and Chad Hayes. The film based on supernatural incidents was initially released in 2013 that received positive feedback from the critics and the audience. Not only this, but it was also praised for the actor’s performances, direction, and a lot more. A sequel to the film was released in 2016.
If you’re a huge fan of horror shows and movies, this will be a delight when you know that the film will get a third installment. The movie is named ‘The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It,’ and is produced by Peter Safran and James Wan. Wan directed the first two series of the film and couldn’t return for direction because of his other projects.
The release date for part 3 was initially decided to be September 11, 2020, but it seems like the makers will push the date due to this ongoing pandemic. Warner Bros. mentioned that the movie would not grab much of the audience’s attention due to the pandemic, and it’s no use to release such a grand project during such times. The news has disappointed its fans but the confirmation of its part 3 coming out is a great relief.
Part 1 of the movie dictated the story of a family that moves to a new farmhouse and soon starts to notice strange things. The family decides to take the action against the same and contact the paranormal investigators.
Part 2 of the movie is about Ed and Lorraine, who travel to North London and help the single mother get rid of the spirits in her house.
The third part’s plot is still unrevealed, but it is most likely to be another true supernatural incident that revolves around a murder mystery. “It is not going to be a haunted house movie,” Safran mentioned.
The best part about ‘The Conjuring’ is that the main cast Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will be seen as Ed and Lorraine in the third part as well. The first two parts narrated the story of two different families facing different supernatural activities, thus the old cast is not expected to return.
Unfortunately, no trailers have been released lately for which the fans are eagerly waiting. It is evident that the shift in the release date will also push the release of the trailer.
